Onsite Event Engraving: A New Partnership with Run for All

ONSITE EVENT ENGRAVING: A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH RUN FOR ALL

This weekend we travelled over to Lincoln Castle to do our first on site engraving event with Jane Tomlinson's Run for All in asscoiation with Asda Foundation.

The premise was easy, engrave the medals of the finishers of the Lincoln 10K, and this part of the job was smooth sailing. As the runners finished their race they could come over to our marquee, fill out a quick form and we'd then engrave their medal with whatever they wrote down (characters permitting). With 4 machines running all the time, this allowed us to get though over 200 medals in the space of an hour, getting through over 600 medals during our time there.

The bit that was testing, was the 5am start to get over to Lincoln and set up before the race started. Not the kind of time an avid sleeper such as myself is used to seeing on a Sunday, or a Monday or any other day to be honest.

All in all, a great day, even with the rise. We got to see some spectacular athletes from all walks of life finish a race for their chosen charity and we were able to give them a personalised memento of the day. All that, and great surroundings to boot. Thank you Lincoln.

We're looking forward to the Nottingham 10K on the 15th May for more of the same.
